Crunchy and sweet like those sugar wafer "cookies" I devoured as a kid. But instead of tooth decay and stomach unease, this album perfectly speaks to my soul decay and general unease with this world in the sweetest of ways. Favorite track: Conduit of grief.

Zach Manages to be vey heavy and very bleak without getting monotonous.

Drew Music Doom was never meant to be this filthy or vile, but thank Satan that these evil saints defiled the genre so. Blackened, deathy and batshit insane, this band has no business being unknown. Favorite track: Wrath Weaver.

baudelagon Longtemps passé sur cet album dont les trois premières minutes me semblaient insubtilement trop brutales pour moi. Mais heureusement je retourne souvent au charbon et parfois je trouve un bon filon. Si j'ai encore des réserves sur un Violated at heart à la frappe si pesante qu'il en devient un peu longuet, les deux derniers morceaux sont parmi les meilleurs titres de leur catégorie que j'ai entendus. Autrement dit, suis un grand fan de la "face b" de cet album.

A Delightful. It's doom in the way Candlemass doom—just listen to those guitars!—yet bathed in blackened sludge to yield something fiercely bleak, naked and abject. Wretched and very cool.
