Ippocalyptica With thanks to the tireless bmurator for making a review reference that contractually obligated me to check out this album (even though I will always defend Yngwie’s honour), I must agree with all of the praise for Malicide. It takes a lot for a heavy metal album (yes, there is thrash and death here) to pull my attention away from BM and DM, but Molten are such riff-crafters, and the Wilkinson production job is so meaty, that I was hooked. This is simply very heavy, impactful, and fun! Favorite track: Festering Anamnesis.

bcb723 Ok...where to start with this one? Molten drop the hammer on total blackened thrash technical perfection. The songs, riffs, solos - all are immediately urgent. It's like an unholy mix of Power Trip, Bathory & Death but totally it's own thing. Greg Wilkinson's expert production just elevates Molten to the next level. But let me pause to give a huge shout out to NC Meihoff with that instant classic cover artwork. "Where's the dude's face skin??" Just flip that goddamned cover over for your answer! Favorite track: Empires of Divinity.

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight).
