Herman At the lowest point, this is still great death metal. But it has some incredibly promising highs. I look forward to more! Favorite track: Fire In The Sky.

Dave Aftandilian I’m a fan of space metal in all its forms, and this is a solid addition to the genre. Its full-out sonic attack and cavernous guttural vocals make me think of innumerable black shadows descending from the heavens, cosmic invaders hellbent on stripping Earth of every last drop of its resources, including humanity, and leaving nothing but blasted gray craters and vast plains filled with smoldering skeletons behind.

Reggie Pepper I initially bought this because Fossilization is one of my favorite albums of the year, but Mortal Embodiment stands well enough on its own two bloodied stumps. There's infinite #s of bands that label themselves as OSDM, but I'm actually old and this sounds like something I would have ordered blindly from a xeroxed mail-order catalog in 1992. Highly recommended.

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight).
