Strategies of Tension is the debut full length offering from the San Francisco/Bay Area Based post-punk band SECTARIAN BLOOM. The album combines all of their recorded music featuring a brand new master exclusive to the vinyl presentation. The music is infectious, catchy and lyrically rooted in social unrest. Dark post-punk with a heavy emphasis on PUNK. Produced by ANDREW OSWLAD (Mortiferum, Ash Borer, False Figure) in Los Angeles and featuring artwork by CAMILA G. DUNSTER.

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight).
