Dave Aftandilian Fast and furious, but with an underlying funkiness I really dig. Also some lovely soaring passages, like a gravedigger covered in dirt and corpse-ichor pausing in his work to look up at a full moon and silver-lined clouds.

Hayduke X These Finns know how to write riffs. The dual vocal style adds to the immersive, tension-filled atmosphere of the release. In three original tracks plus a cover, Sepulchral Curse show that they continue on a trajectory which looks to take them to the heights of death metal. Favorite track: Dystheist.

A There's a lot of black metal going on in this death metal and it's righteous; all-devil-horns-and-headbanging kind of thing. \m/ Favorite track: Harvesting The Bloodlines.

An outstanding Extreme doom death album, in the best tradition. The funerary atmosphere reminds of Evoken ('Centuries of ooze" bears striking similarities, for my delight).
